Job Description
A retail and distribution company in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Sales Executive to help grow its customer base and maintain relationships with existing clients. The role involves speaking with customers, understanding what they need, preparing suitable offers, and following up until a sale is completed.
This position would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, is comfortable discussing products or services, and can work toward sales targets without losing focus on customer service.
Responsibilities
- Contact potential customers and introduce company products or services.
- Follow up on enquiries and sales leads.
- Understand customer requirements before recommending suitable options.
- Prepare quotations and basic sales proposals.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers.
- Record sales activities and update customer information.
- Work with other departments to coordinate customer orders.
- Monitor progress toward individual and team sales targets.
- Attend customer meetings when required.
- Keep up to date with company products and pricing.
- Share customer feedback with the sales manager.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person.
- Ability to follow up consistently on leads.
- Willingness to work toward sales targets.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- UAE sales experience is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related subject is preferred.
- Relevant sales experience may be considered in place of formal education.
